David Williamson
- Late 1930s, possibly 1936. 59-61 Muir Road. No 59 was the fire station up to 1956. The building was very different to the current Streetview that is available. The appliance bay was on the left hand side of the door with the building being converted to a dwelling in the 1980's. The buildings to the rear of the property were added in the 1970's when it was owned by Kaye's of Bathgate, a local toolmaking and engineering company. No 61 seems to have always been a dwelling house and was up for sale c80's/90's for offers over £49,500
